I have been restoring antique furniture and pool tables for 19 years now. My tables range from the 1860s - 1930s, pre-WWII. My favorite pool table restoration was a Collender from the Civil War Era. Another favorite memory was finding solid quartered-sewn oak pool table under 3 coats of paint- pink, then white, then blue.
